Low frequency noise remains one of the hardest unsolved problems in real-world acoustics. It propagates far, penetrates structures, and crucially travels through ducts as an efficient waveguide, spreading noise across a building and even outdoors through exhaust and air discharge points.
No one has solved low-frequency noise yet. Passive silencers (foam, mineral wool) are large, hard to integrate, and often trade performance for pressure drop. Reactive silencers use internal geometry—chambers, baffles, and tubes—to reflect sound waves back but they require fine tuning and customization. Active noise control was promising but mainly failed.
Vibiscus brings active control into an industrial product logic: compact, repeatable, easy to integrate, and built for real world HVAC deployment.
Our product ensures air circulation while minimizing pressure losses.
Our product is able to process frequencies below 1000Hz.
A footprint 10 times smaller than that of existing systems, enabling infinite configurations.
Our product reduces noise by up to -40dB.
